Last June, the Government Council of the Basque Country approved the 2027 work calendar for the Autonomous Community of Euskadi. This includes the 12 national and regional holidays that will be applied throughout the community, although two more holidays must be added that correspond to the town councils, since they are local in nature.
Taking into account the 12 common ones, there will be a total of 4 long weekends in the Basque Country, including one of five days.
