The beginning of the year is loaded with tax obligations, as the Treasury warns in the 2025 taxpayer calendar. Although the majority of homeowner communities are managed by property managers, there are those that are managed by the neighbors themselves. Just as they must know the sanctions that can be imposed on delinquent neighbors, they must be informed of what their tax obligations are this January.

The Andalusian Council of Property Administrators clarifies that around 30% of the communities are managed by the neighbors themselves and could incur a tax violation if they do not present the corresponding models on time or if they do so improperly.

What procedures do neighborhood communities have to carry out this month of January to avoid fines from the Treasury?

According to the Council, there are several procedures that the neighborhood communities have to submit, as appropriate, and that the State Agency (AEAT) of the Tax Administration itself has marked on its website.
