The rent simulator is now available: you can check how your statement will be in 2025

On April 2, the declaration campaign of the Income Tax of the Natural Persons (IRPF) of 2024 (It is the exercise that is presented) and, according to the taxpayer’s calendar of this 2025, it may be presented until June 30. On April 2, the option of submitting the rent will open through the official website of the Tax Agency, from 6 it can be made by telephone (appointment request from April 29 to June 27) and from 2 It can be done in person at your offices (appointment request from May 29 to June 27). However, it should be remembered that there are exempt citizens.

Now, for citizens who do have to present the IRPF and prefer to prepare the declaration of their taxes in advance and foresee if they will pay them to return, they can already consult the rent simulator, ‘web income’. It is a version of web income that functions as a simulator.

The simulator, from the data you enter, simulates how your personal income tax will be. Although it must be taken into account that they do not validate the same or the NIF that is indicated to perform it, since it is not binding and does not allow the presentation of the declaration.

How does the simulator work?

In the first place, you must enter for Income Open. Once inside, in the initial window you can start a new statement or load the data of a statement previously saved and created with the same application. In this first step, the website gives the option to change the language and asks that you enter the complete identifying data, although no validation will be carried out against the Census of the Tax Agency.

If you have initiated a new statement, you must include all the data, personal and economic, to simulate the result. Once you have filled all the relevant information, you have to click on ‘Accept’ and you will already directly access the summary of results.

Edit and check failures

Once you have identified yourself, you will have a summary of previous statements and you can edit data for individual statements and check if there is any technical failure. You also have the possibility of make comparisons with other statements.

Of course, to be able to carry out the simulation you will have to have all the fiscal data of the year 2024, such as income, withholdings and deductions. That is, the simulator allows all the deductions to which you are entitled (those corresponding to the house, donations, pension plans, for the payment of loans, …), which reduce the tax base (the amount of the tax to the tax to pay).

To modify the data, you must access ‘sections declaration’ or click on the numerical links next to each concept. Again, in the statement, you will have a breakdown of links that direct the different sections of it. If you click on ‘show options’, the button is expanded with more actions, including the arrow command to navigate between the pages of the statement.

From ‘Search for Casilla’ you can locate sections of the declaration by box number or concepts, and with the ‘Validate’ button analyze the completion that has been made and detected the possible notices and errors.

There are many boxes to be completed, so if you want to recover the declaration completed at another time, just press the ‘Save’ button to get the file, which you can recover from the initial window by clicking the option ‘Load’.

Finally, to check the result, you can access the last page, ‘Income or return document’, or the summary of statements. Income web Open allows the generation of a PDF with the preview of the declaration, although this document is not valid for presentation.
