The Government has approved modifications in the income tax return for next 2025. This will affect the limits exempt from paying Personal Income Tax (IRPF), for people with more than one payer and has been published this Tuesday in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
According to the provisions of the Royal Decree-Law, in Title II, which addresses tax measures, and as reported by the Ministry of Finance, “rises from 1,500 to 2,500 euros “the total amount of the full income from work from the second and remaining payers who are required to submit the income tax return.”
These taxpayers will be exempt from submitting the Income Tax return in 2025 if they have more than one payer
Until now, the taxpayers with income of up to 22,000 euros per year and more than one payeras long as the sum of the income received from the second and remaining inns does not exceed 1,500 euros. After this new measure, this limit increases to 2,500 euros.
This change in personal income tax matters is clarified by the ministry of María Jesús Montero, who will benefit the lowest incomes reducing “the tax obligations of taxpayers with lower incomes”.
