The Generalitat of Catalonia has approved the 2027 work calendar that includes the 12 regional and regional holidays that can be enjoyed in the community during that year. To these we would have to add two other labor holidays that are chosen by the town councils, so the latter vary depending on which locality they work in.
If we look at the remaining 12, we can anticipate that there will be a total of 4 bridges in Catalonia during 2027.
Holidays in Catalonia in 2027
These are all the labor holidays that will be in Catalonia in 2027:
- January 1 (Friday): New Year
- January 6 (Wednesday): Epiphany of the Lord (Kings)
- March 26 (Friday): Good Friday
- March 29 (Monday): Easter Monday
- May 1 (Saturday): Labor Day
- June 24 (Thursday): San Juan
- September 11 (Saturday): Catalonia Day, La Diada
- October 12 (Tuesday): National Holiday of Spain
- November 1 (Monday): All Saints’ Day
- December 6 (Monday): Constitution Day
- December 8 (Wednesday): The Immaculate Conception
- December 25 (Saturday): Nativity of the Lord (Christmas)
Note that in the territory of Aran, the festival of March 29 (Pasqua Florida) is replaced by June 17 (Aran Festival), on Thursday.
Likewise, the Assumption of the Virgin (August 15) or Saint Stephen (December 26) has not been collected because the regional government has decided to leave them on Sunday, and not move them to Monday.
Bridges of Catalonia in 2027
If we understand a bridge to have at least three days in a row, these are all the bridges in Catalonia throughout 2027:
- January 1, 2 and 3 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), for the New Year
- March 26, 27, 28 and 29 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday), for Easter
- October 30, 31 and November 1 (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), for All Saints
- December 4, 5 and 6 (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), by the Constitution
If you can take days for your own business or vacation, these long weekends could be increased. For example, if we take December 7, the long weekend would be 5 days, as the 8th is also a holiday.
