The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayusohas claimed this Thursday in the assembly that the region is “growing above the national average” and that represents “almost 20% of the economy of Spain.” The popular leader stressed that, in September, social security affiliation increased by 45,903 people, which makes it “the first autonomous community into creation of jobs” in the last month, “also in the retail trade sector.”
The Unemployment data and social security affiliation September published Thursday by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migrations show that affiliation in Madrid advanced 1.23% Regarding August. At the same time, the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy reported that the registered strike descended in 2,034 people, 0.73% less than the previous month, until it is located at 278,056 unemployed. This is the lowest unemployment figure in the region for a month of September since 2007.
Ayuso presumes employment and economy figures
Ayuso has stressed during the plenary that “we are also leaders in the first lists that lower unemployment” and has assured that his government “is giving prosperity and opportunities.” He has also focused on the growing weight of the Madrid economy in the country as a whole, especially in sectors such as retail trade.
On a different level, the president has taken advantage of her intervention to highlight the health excellence of the region and recalled that 53 of the 100 best valued doctors in Spain exercise in Madrid hospitals, such as the Jiménez Díaz Foundation, “of the Chiron Group, which mostly hires the Government of Pedro Sánchez”, which have been recognized for “their excellence and for the work they are doing.”
Data nationwide
At the national level, the registered strike was reduced in September in 4,846 people, until it is located at 2,421,665 unemployed, the lowest figure for this month since 2007, according to the data released by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.
The behavior is unusual, since historically September usually reflects an increase in unemployment lists due to the end of the summer campaign. It is the first time in almost two decades that there is a decrease in this month.
