NOTA DE ESTABILIDAD FINANCIERA CNMV

Warnings (unauthorized entities and other entities)

In accordance with the regulations applicable to securities markets, the CNMV may disseminate any information necessary for the protection of investors and, in particular, issue warnings to the public.

Investment through unauthorized entities entails high risks of loss of capital, since they act outside the controls established by supervisory bodies. Furthermore, to create confusion, some use mentions of the CNMV to convey security in their investments.

To avoid this, both the CNMV and other foreign regulators issue warnings about entities that may be providing investment services without being duly authorized to do so.

Likewise, it is considered that it may be of interest from the perspective of investor protection to report on other entities that do not have any type of authorization or are registered for any purpose with the CNMV and that could be carrying out some type of fundraising activity or providing some service of a financial nature.
