On September 30, the Government Council of the Community of Madrid approved the decree that establishes the 2027 work calendar. This establishes 12 fixed holidays (common throughout the community), to which two more local holidays must be added that are chosen by the town councils.
Note that May 2 maintains its status as a Festival of the Community of Madrid, but it does not appear on the calendar because it falls on a Sunday, and it has not been decided to move to Monday.
Counting the 12 common holidays, we also anticipate that there are a total of 6 bridges in the Community of Madrid in 2027.
