When unemployment is collected in November 2025: confirmed dates from CaixaBank, BBVA, Santander, ING and other banks

The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) will pay the contributory benefit (better known as “the unemployment“) and unemployment benefits as of Monday, November 10, 2025. Among the subsidies are the subsidy for those over 52 years of age, the subsidy for insufficient contributions or the exhaustion of the contributory benefit. Despite the date established by the SEPE, it must be said that banks and banking entities have the possibility of advancing the payment, so some could receive the money as of Tuesday, November 4.

This month of November is a month in which retirees and other pensioners who benefit from pensions such as permanent disability or widowhood will receive extra pay, so they will receive a double income. In the case of SEPE unemployment benefits, there is no extra pay, that is, the monthly payment is charged. This is so, since you are paid in 12 payments a year and pensions (not all) are collected in 14 payments.

What day is unemployment collected in November 2025?

The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) makes the unemployment payment starting on Monday, November 10, 2025 and before Saturday the 15th. Since the first days are business days, there should not be any type of delay in collecting the benefit. That same day, the rest of the unemployment benefits will also be entered, such as the subsidy for those over 52 years of age and family benefits.

Now, the moment in which the unemployed receive unemployment benefits in their bank accounts will once again depend on the entity where they have the payment domiciled. Some banks, such as Openbank, Banco Santander, Banco Mediolanum and Ibercaja, will advance the payment starting on Tuesday the 4th of the month.

The rest of the entities, including Caixabank, BBVA, Unicaja, Banco Sabadell, ING and Cajamar, will make the deposit starting Monday, November 10, once the General Treasury of Social Security (TGSS) has transferred the corresponding funds to the collaborating entities.

How do I know how much I will receive in unemployment and subsidy?

Each unemployed person can find out what they are going to collect from unemployment or subsidy through the SEPE Electronic Headquarters (can be accessed through this link). Regarding the contributory unemployment benefit, it should be noted that during the first 180 days, 70% of the regulatory base is collected, and from day 181, 60%, as established by the regulations, always respecting the maximum and minimum amounts.

In the case of subsidies, after the reform under the Royal Decree 2/2024it is established that during the first 180 days, 95% of the IPREM will be received, which is equivalent to 570 euros per month. Subsequently, during the next 180 days, the amount will decrease to 90% of the IPREM, resulting in 540 euros per month. Finally, starting on day 361, 80% of the IPREM will be received, which corresponds to 480 euros per month, the usual amount.
