He Public State Employment Service (SEPE) will enter unemployment and the rest of the benefits and unemployment subsidies as of Monday, February 10, 2025. Among the benefits that will be charged next Monday are the contributory benefit, as well as ancient and new aid, such as family aid for over 52 years or the subsidy due to the exhaustion of the contributory benefit. Although the SEPE has a regulation for the payment of the benefits, the majority of banks and bank entities can advance the income, allowing some beneficiaries to receive their money a few days before, from Friday, February 7, depending on their banking entity.
Banks such as CaixaBank, Banco Santander or BBVA, among others, can make this advance, since, like the rest of benefits and pensions, they have the General Social Security Treasury (TGSS) what is known as Unique centralized account. In it, banks can know in advance who are the beneficiaries of the benefits and the amount they must collect. In this way, banks know days in advance who are the beneficiaries and how much they must charge, thus being able to advance the entry of pensions and benefits. This regulation is regulated in article 24 of Royal Decree 696/2018, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
