“My work day starts at 11 in the morning, 5 minutes before my schedule, I arrive, I change, I wear old clothes, I put my apron and I am ready to start working,” he begins explaining. Regarding its schedule, it says that on Saturdays it is in time, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., so you have a 4 -hour pause in between. For its part, Sundays is from 09:00 to 17:00, and sometimes they feed.
More than 1,300 euros working only weekends
Continuing with his shifts, he says that in the first, in the morning, he always has a lot of work: “Not only is it a restaurant, but a hotel. My favorite part is when these snacks bring us, which are very rich, that they do in the restaurant,” he says, ensuring that “the bad thing is to eat them in the workplace.”
The reason? If a 10 -minute break is taken, “many dishes accumulate.” As for the work environment, he affirms that he has “partners of many nationalities, although most are Portuguese” and “although work is not easy, the work environment is excellent and I like that”, just like some desserts that bring him every time, as shown in the video.
Now, going to the important matter, the salary, reveals that the work time in Luxembourg is paid 15.62 euros. For this reason, taking into account their schedules, I would work for about 64 hours per month, it would give about 1,000 euros. However, in the video he points out that he has worked a few overtime, so he has a salary of 1,351 euros gross, which without taxes would remain at 1,296 euros net.
Wendy points out that it is only working on weekends, so it makes the clarification that “a job like the one I do can only achieve to live well if you do it as an extra work because if you take it as the main work and you have to pay for rent, service and food, it does not reach you.”
