Treasury technicians ask the AEAT to investigate Juan Carlos I: they want to know where the money comes from "return loans to your friends"

The Technician Union of the Ministry of Finance, Gestha, has asked the Tax Agency (AEAT) to investigate the economic activities and interests of King Emeritus, Juan Carlos I, once the information in which they ensure that the father of Felipe VI has already been known “has already returned to his friends the loans he received to pay in February 2021 4,416,757.46 euros ”.

The union points to that, at the time Juan Carlos I charged those loans, he had his fiscal residence in Spain since he did not change it to Arab Emirates until the following year. Therefore, Gestha has asked the directors of the Tax Agency (Finance) to begin with the inquiries before “prescribes on July 30 to be able to investigate the guarantees, the clauses and conditions of the loans that say that they are already reimbursed and if in that year the King Emeritus had real estate, actions or accounts outside of Spain and its valuation”.

The union appeals to the AEAT to locate “where is the main center of economic interests” of the monarch of Spain since it is located in our country “would continue to be a fiscal resident in Spain even if it lived in Emirates.”

But, “in the event that their fiscal interests were in another country, it can be considered that the tax regularization of Juan Carlos I was inveraz, incomplete or incorrect with the criminal consequences that it would entail for alleged crimes against the public hacienda.”

“It could be considered a fiscal stateless”

Gestha has requested that the tax residence procedure in Spain be activated, since otherwise King Juan Carlos I could be an apical stateless, since he would not be taxed for his world income not only in Spain but also in the United Arab Emirates, where he is residing at the moment. And that, in addition “the Tax Agency is consents to an abusive case of double non -imposition.”

They have also requested that another investigation be initiated in which “the place and nature of the income obtained supposedly for the sale of the rights for the realization of documentaries about their life and through the intermediation in commercial operations” can be verified when you have obtained them personally or through a Spanish or foreign instrumental company or entity.

Another aspect for which they want answers is where the funds are in their accounts. The Treasury technicians ensure that the end of this second inquiry is to determine the site where their main interest center is since 2022, as Europa Press is collected.
