The average price of electricity in Spain for this Tuesday, September 9, 2025, will be 63.56 euros/MWh (euros the megavatio hour). In this way, electricity decreases again 16.77%, if we compare it with the price recorded on Monday, where the ‘pool’ was set at 76.37 euros/MWh. That is, a decrease of 12.81 euros, according to the data of the Iberian energy market (OMIE).

When is light cheaper on Tuesday?
The cheapest electricity time will take place between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., when it will fall to 8.91 euros/MWh. There will also be other very economical sections throughout the day, especially between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with values that will range between 17 and 30 euros/MWh. Therefore, these will be the best hours to put appliances such as washing machines or oven.
When is the light more expensive this Tuesday?
The highest price of the day will be reached between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., with a maximum of 120.00 euros/MWh. Other very expensive stripes between 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., when the cost will exceed 98 euros/MWh, as well as between 07:00 and 09:00 hours, with prices above 96 euros/MWh. These will be the less advisable hours to concentrate electricity consumption, since the invoice can make more expensive.
