The average price of light in Spain for this Saturday, September 13, 2025, is 60.84 euros per megavatio hour (MWh). Thus, the electric rate drops by 16.81%, about 12.29 euros, if we compare it with the data of this Friday, where the ‘pool’ was set at 73.13 euros/MWh, according to the data of the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE).
Compared to a year ago, we can say that now electricity is more expensive, 29.14%, since that day had a price of 47.11 euros. Now, it should be remembered that this price and that affects consumers with regulated rate (PVPC) or indexed in the free market does not carry taxes or tolls. This data is given by the electricity at the end of the day.

When is light cheaper this Saturday?
The cheapest electricity hours will be registered between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., when the price will fall to -0.01 euros/MWh. The stripes between 10:00 and 1:00 p.m., with values that will go from € 2.37/MWh until reaching € 0/MWh, as well as between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., where the cost will be re -located at € 0/MWh. These central hours of the day will be the most recommended to concentrate electricity consumption.
When is electricity more expensive this Saturday?
The most expensive section of the day will be between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., when the price of electricity will reach 106.11 euros/MWh. They will follow the hours from 00:00 to 01:00 (€ 102.3/MWh), 20:00 to 21:00 (€ 100.13/MWh) and 22:00 to 23:00 (€ 99.3/MWh). These time slots will be the least advisable to make high energy consumption, coinciding with the moments of greater demand at the end of the day.
