The price of light tomorrow, September 11, for hours: when is cheaper and face in the day

The average price of light in Spain for this Thursday, September 11, 2025, is 54.42 euros per megavatio hour (MWH), according to the data of the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE). In this way, the electric rate rises 2.86 euros, 5.55%, if we compare it with the price of the ‘pool’ recorded on Wednesday, which stood at 51.56 euros/MWh.

A year ago, the price of electricity stood at 76.74 euros/MWh, so it is now cheaper. This price, which affects consumers with regulated rate (PVPC) or indexed in the free market, does not include tolls or other taxes, a final amount that will give an electricity network throughout the day.

When is the cheaper the light

The cheapest time of light will take place during noon and the first part of the afternoon, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a price of € €/MWh each strip. After this, the following cheaper hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with € 0/MWh, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 with € 0.03/MWh ideal stripes to concentrate the highest domestic electrical consumption and reduce the invoice.

When the light is more expensive

The most expensive section of the day will be between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., with a maximum price of € 140/MWh. They are closely followed by the stripes from 22:00 to 23:00 (€ 111.82/MWh) and from 23:00 to 24:00 (€ 100.44/MWh). These hours coincide with the beginning and end of the day, when the demand for electricity in homes usually increases.

Although the price of the light has registered a rise compared to the previous day there are times when it is possible to square tasks and time of electricity to pay less at the end of the month.
