The price of light today Wednesday, August 13, 2025: the cheapest hours and faces within the PVPC

The average price of electricity rises again on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 to 165.58 euros/MWh (euros the megavatio hour) for consumers with regulated or indexed rate in the free market according to data published by Red Electric. This represents a 4.78% rise compared to this Tuesday’s data, when the price was 157.66 euros/MWh.

It must be taken into account that these amounts with which they refer to the voluntary price for the small consumer (PVPC) that applies to consumers with regulated or indexed rate in the free market and that vary from those paid in the wholesale market. The data of this are published by the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE).
