The average price of electricity for this Thursday, August 7, 2025, rises to 153.26 euros/MWh for consumers with regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Electric. This means that the light is paid 1.92% more expensive than the Wednesday, August 6, when its price was 150.38 euros/MWh.

It must be remembered that these amounts correspond to the voluntary price for the small consumer (PVPC), and are different from those published by the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE), which reflect the Price in the wholesale market and are usually lower because it does not include concepts such as taxes and tolls.
