The average power of electricity for this Thursday, August 14, 2025, is € 166.51/MWh for consumers with regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Electric. This is the fourth consecutive rise of the week, although the increase on this occasion has only been 0.56% at the price recorded on Wednesday. To the pocket, this translates into about 0.93 euros more.
At all times we must keep in mind that this amount corresponds to the voluntary price for the small consumer (PVPC), which is different to the one offered by the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE). The latter refers to the average price within the wholesale market.

Towards mid -afternoon the most expensive hours of light will begin to take place, exceeding the barrier of 200 euros, although there will also be some peaks during the morning, so care will have to be careful.
