The average price of electricity in Spain for this Sunday, September 7, 2025, will be 31.84 euros/MWh (euros the megavatio hour). This represents a rise of just 19.98% compared to that registered on Saturday, when the wholesale market (‘Pool’) marked 26.54 euros/MWh. That is, for the pocket it will be 5.3 euros, according to the data of the Iberian energy market (OMIE).
If compared to the same date last year, it must be said that we now have a cheaper light, since that day the ‘pool’ was paid to 79.01 euros/MWh, so it is now a decrease of 59.71%. Now, it should be remembered that this is only the wholesale price of reference, which mainly affects consumers hosted by the regulated rate (PVPC) or with indexed contracts in the free market. To this figure you have to add tolls, charges and taxes, which Red Eléctrica will publish at the last minute of the day.
