The light price of Sunday, September 28, 2025 for regulated tariff customers linked to the wholesale market will be 49.79 euros per megavatio hour (MW/h). In this way, and after several days of increases, the low rate and does 30.64% if we compare it with the price recorded this Saturday set at 71.79 euros/MWh, according to the data of the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE).

The lowest electricity price will take place in the afternoon 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., with a cost of 8.53 euros/MWh. The next cheapest hour will be between 14:00 and 15:00, when it will be paid at 15.00 euros/MWh. Thus, these will be the best hours to put high consumption appliances such as the washing machine or the oven.
When is electricity more expensive?
The highest price of the day will take place in the afternoon, at dusk, between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., when it will reach 74.14 euros/MWh. Another little recommended time to use appliances is between 19:00 and 20:00, with a price of 70.98 euros/MWh.
