The price of electricity for this Wednesday, November 12, 2025, drops to 131.37 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that electricity is paid 12.58% cheaper than the Tuesday, November 11, when its price was 150.28 euros.
It is important to note that the prices shown correspond to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC). Therefore, they differ from those published by the Operator of the Iberian Energy Market (OMIE)which reflect the wholesale market price and are usually lower, since they do not include concepts such as taxes or tolls.
When is electricity cheaper this Wednesday?
The cheapest hour of electricity is between 4:00 and 5:00, when the price drops to 75.85 euros. Another of the lowest hours, below 80 euros, is between 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning.
When is electricity most expensive this Wednesday?
Electricity reaches its maximum price in the time slot from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., when the price rises to 225.21 euros. The rest of the most expensive sections of the day, above 200 euros, are in the interval from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
