The average price of electricity tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, will be 104.49 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) in the wholesale market, according to data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE). Thus, electricity is experiencing its third consecutive increase of the week, with no respite for consumers, although this time the increase is slight. Specifically, around €2.97/MWh will be paid more for the pool, which is equivalent to an increase of 2.93% regarding Tuesday.
In annual terms, the increase is notable, registering an increase of 42.36%. It is so because, October 29, 2024the average price of electricity stood at 73.40 euros/MWh, about 31.09 euros cheaper.

It must always be remembered that this price, published by the OMIE, refers to the price within the wholesale market. It is important to know it because it does not include concepts such as taxes or tolls. These are now incorporated into the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), which is the one that affects consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market and is published late in the afternoon.

The cheapest hour of electricity takes place from 2 a.m. to 3 a.m., in the middle of the morning, when it will be paid at 80.03 euros/MWh. However, it should be noted that, in the morning and early noon, there will be several economic bands with similar amounts.
When is electricity most expensive tomorrow, Wednesday?
The maximum peak of electricity will occur between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., when 159.89 euros/MWh will be reached. As is usually the case, the most expensive hours of electricity will take place in the late afternoon, also extending into part of the night.
