The price of electricity tomorrow, Wednesday, October 15, 2025: when is it cheapest and most expensive on the day

The average price of electricity for this Wednesday, October 15, 2025, will be 109.40 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) in the wholesale market, according to data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE). If we take into account the electricity rate registered this Tuesday, set at 108.24 euros/MWh, we can say that electricity increases by 1.07% or in other words 1.16 euros.

This new increase will affect consumers with a regulated PVPC or indexed rate in the free market, but taking into account that this price does not have taxes or tolls applied. This information was announced by Red Eléctrica at the end of the day.

When is electricity cheaper this Wednesday, October 15?

The lowest price of electricity will be between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., when it will cost 66.75 euros/MWh. Furthermore, the cheapest hours during daylight hours will be between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., with an average price of 66.85 euros/MWh.

When is electricity most expensive?

The maximum price of electricity will be between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., when it will cost 163.07 euros/MWh. It is also advisable to avoid the early hours of the morning, especially between 08:00 and 10:00, with an average price of 139.78 euros/MWh (the 08:00-09:00 section stands out with 158.17 euros/MWh) and the afternoon period 19:00-22:00 (156.52–148.73 euros/MWh).
