The average price of electricity for this Saturday, November 15, 2025, is 31.46 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) in the wholesale market. This represents an increase of 7.04% compared to the value of this Thursday, when electricity was paid at 29.39 euros, according to data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE).

This rebound affects consumers covered by the regulated tariff (PVPC) and those who have an indexed tariff in the free market. However, these figures do not include tolls, system charges or the rest of the taxes applied on the invoice. The final price, already with all these concepts, is published by Red Eléctrica at the end of the day, around 8:30 p.m.

When is electricity cheaper this Saturday, November 15?

The cheapest part of the day will be between 04:00 and 05:00, when the price will drop to 16.50 euros per MWh. The early morning hours once again concentrate the lowest values, especially between 02:00 and 06:00, with prices that remain below 20 euros per MWh in almost all of these bands.

When is electricity most expensive?

The highest price of the day will arrive between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., when the electricity will rise to 65.05 euros per MWh. Two other peak sections also stand out: between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., with 58.62 euros per MWh, and between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., where the price will be 48.28 euros per MWh.

For this Saturday we must keep in mind that, although the average price has risen (a little), the cheapest hours will be more expensive, but at the same time, the most expensive ones will have a lower price. In addition, most of the economic hours will occur at dawn, which will make it difficult to save on the bill.

Evolution of the price of electricity

Electricity remains below the levels recorded in November of last year. So far this month, the average wholesale market price stands at 48.11 euros per megawatt hour, far from the 100.64 euros reached in the same period of 2024.

The year-on-year drop continues, although with less intensity than in previous days. On November 15, 2024, the average price stood at 124.55 euros per MWh, which implies a difference of 89.83 euros compared to this year’s reference.
