The average price of electricity for this Wednesday, November 5, 2025 drops (one more day) to reach an average of 123.87 euros/MWh for consumers who have a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to the data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that, if compared to the price registered this Tuesday, November 4 (143.58 euros/MWh)electricity is 15.92% cheaper.
It is important to remember that this cost is the so-called Voluntary Price for the Small Consumer (PVPC) so it changes with respect to those published in the morning by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which reflect the cost of electricity in the wholesale market. This is lower because it does not include concepts such as taxes or tolls that are included in the PVPC.
