The average price of electricity for this Wednesday, March 25, 2026, drops after several days of increases to 138.26 euros/MWh for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, as can be seen from the data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that electricity is paid on average 15.61 euros cheaper than this Tuesday in which the price was 153.87 eurosthat is, it has been reduced by 10.15%.

It should be remembered that the amounts mentioned refer to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC). These amounts are usually greater than those published by the Operator of the Iberian Energy Market (OMIE) for the wholesale market, because they include other concepts such as taxes and tolls.
