The average price of electricity for this Thursday, October 30, 2025, drops to 159.67 euros/MWh for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Eléctrica. Which means that electricity is paid 6.84% more expensive than on Wednesday, October 29, when its price was 171.40 euros/MWh.
It should be noted that these prices correspond to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), so they change with respect to those published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which reflect the price in the wholesale market and they are usually lower because it does not include concepts such as taxes and tolls.
