The average price of electricity for this Thursday, October 16, 2025, drops slightly to 167.08 euros/MWh for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that electricity is paid 0.13% cheaper than on Wednesday, October 15, when its price was 167.29 euros/MWh.

It is necessary to remember that these prices correspond to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), so they change with respect to those published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which reflect the price in the wholesale market and they are usually lower because it does not include concepts such as taxes and tolls.
