The average price of electricity for this Sunday, October 19, 2025, falls again to 107.59 euros/MWh for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, as can be seen from the data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that electricity is paid 10.70% cheaper than the Saturday, when the price was 120.52 euros.

It must be taken into account that this amount corresponds to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), an amount that varies from that published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which sets the wholesale market prices and which is usually lower because it does not include concepts such as taxes and tolls.

The cheapest hour of electricity is between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., when it drops to 68.06 euros and the rest of the morning and early afternoon you can take advantage of the rest of the cheaper sections.
