The average price of electricity for this Monday, October 6, 2025, rises to 159.21 euros/MWh for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that electricity is paid 57.88% more expensive than on Sunday, October 5, when its price was 100.84 euros/MWh.

It should be noted that these prices correspond to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), so they change with respect to those published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which reflect the price in the wholesale market and they are usually lower because it does not include concepts such as taxes and tolls.

The cheapest price of electricity is between 01:00 and 02:00, at which time the price drops to 89.98 euros. The later hours are ranked as the next ones with the lowest prices of the day.
