The average price of electricity in Spain for this Sunday, November 9, 2025, stands at 57.90 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) in the wholesale market. This represents an increase of 40.73% compared to the value marked this Friday, when the price was 41.17 euros/MWh, according to data from the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE).
This drop has a direct impact on consumers who have contracted a regulated tariff (PVPC) or an indexed tariff within the free market, since the price of energy varies according to the price of the wholesale market. It is worth remembering that the published figures do not include tolls or taxes, since these are added later in the calculation made by Red Eléctrica de España at the close of the day.
