The price of electricity plummets this Saturday, November 8, by 39.63%: discover the cheapest time slots to save

The average price of electricity in Spain for this Saturday, November 8, 2025, is €41.17/MWh in the wholesale market. Thus, the cost of the electricity rate drops again by 39.63%, if we compare it with this Friday’s day, which is at 68.22 euros/MWh, according to data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE).

This reduction benefits consumers who have contracted a regulated electricity rate (PVPC) or indexed electricity rate within the free market in their homes. Now, these prices do not include tolls or taxes, since these are given by Red Eléctrica at the end of the day.

When is electricity cheaper this Saturday, November 8?

The cheapest section of the day will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., with a price of -€0.26/MWh in the wholesale market. Now, a negative price does not mean it is free, since it does not involve taxes and tolls.
