The price of electricity for this Friday, November 14, 2025, drops to 129.60 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) for consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to data published by Red Eléctrica. This means that electricity is paid 1.95% cheaper than the Thursday, November 13, when its price was 132.18 euros.
It is important to note that the prices shown correspond to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC). Therefore, they differ from those published by the Operator of the Iberian Energy Market (OMIE)which reflect the wholesale market price and are usually lower, since they do not include concepts such as taxes or tolls.
When is electricity cheaper this Friday?
The cheapest hour of electricity is between 4:00 and 5:00, when the price drops to 70.01 euros. From 2:00 to 6:00 in the morning the price will be below 80 euros.
When is electricity most expensive this Friday?
Electricity rises to its maximum price between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., when electricity reaches 209.86 euros. The rest of the day concentrates its highest prices in the afternoon hours.
