Evolution of the price of electricity in November
We continue to have cheaper electricity than a year ago, at least within the wholesale market. So far this month, the average price of the wholesale market is 57.20 euros per megawatt hour, well below the 102.90 euros that were registered in the same period of 2024, that is, a difference of 45.79 euros.
Although the year-on-year decline continues, it does so with somewhat less intensity than in previous days. On November 28, 2024, the average price was 132.19 euros per MWh, that is, 33.46 euros less than this year’s reference.
