The minimum vital income (IMV) has arrived this month of January 671,849 households in Spainof which 2,050,542 people are beneficiaries, according to data published by the National Social Security Institute (INSS). Of these beneficiaries, 41.5% are minors, which represents 850,127 children and adolescents. According to the data, the average amount of this non -contributory benefit is 516.5 euros for home and that has meant a total expense in January of 384.6 million euros.
If we compare it with the data a year ago, in January 2024, the number of active benefits has increased by 134,459that is, now 25% of more people charge this help. In terms accumulated since its launch in June 2020, the IMV has reached 955,918 homes and has protected 2,842,392 people, of which 1,235,264 are lower, representing 43.5% of the total. 15% increase for those affected by Dana
For those affected by the DANA, 16,000 families have received an additional 15% increase in their vital income provision. In addition, family units with minors have received 30% more in the complement to childhood aid.
