The Madrid community prepares for light cuts for 6 days: 29 affected municipalities

From this Monday, Madrid and several community locations will experience scheduled lights. It is not a problem in the network or a massive failure, but of temporary interruptions to perform maintenance and improvement of electrical installations. The I-Group Iberdrola has reported that the Cortes will affect the capital and other Madrid municipalities between August 18 and 23, 2025.

Through a statement on its website, Iberdrola explains that the cuts will affect both the capital and other locations, and in some cases to concrete streets and blocks. As usual, if the work concludes before the planned time, the supply will be restored immediately and without prior notice.
