The Community of Madrid announces new blackouts and power outages for this week: up to 20 municipalities affected

During this week, between April 13 and 17, several municipalities in the Community of Madrid will suffer scheduled power outages, which have already been announced by Iberdrola in its official website. These power outages are not due to an unexpected blackout or a general failure of the network, but are work that has already been agreed upon in the maintenance and modernization plan of the electrical network, so it is not a breakdown.

As in other weeks, Iberdrola has indicated that the cuts will be made in specific time slots and, if the work ends earlier, the supply will be restored immediately and without prior notice.

These are the municipalities affected by power outages in the Community of Madrid

Looking ahead to the week of April 11 to 17, the scheduled power outages will affect a total of 20 municipalities in the Community of Madrid. Specifically, the affected towns are: Alalpardo (Valdeolmos-Alalpardo), Becerril de la Sierra, Boadilla del Monte, Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cubas de la Sagra, El Álamo, Getafe, Horcajo de la Sierra, Las Rozas de Madrid, Madrid (capital), Majadahonda, Móstoles, Rascafría, Collado Mediano (Reajo del Roble), Robregordo, Somosierra, Torrejón de Ardoz, Tres Cantos, Villanueva de la Cañada and Villaviciosa de Odón.

The outages are spread throughout the week, with time slots mainly in the morning (between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.), although there are also occasional interruptions early in the morning, in the afternoon, and even at night in some cases. The length varies depending on the performance, but most cuts range between 1 and 3 hours.

For residents of these areas, it is advisable to consult the complete document published by Iberdrola, which details all the streets and sections affected in each municipality.
