The Community of Madrid announces new blackouts and light cuts for this week: more than 30 affected municipalities

Throughout this week, from October 4 to 10, 2025, different municipalities of the Community of Madrid will experience scheduled lights. This has been communicated I-of Iberdrola Group through its website, where they emphasize that it is not a failure in the network or an unexpected blackout, but of maintenance work and improvement of the electricity grid. The cuts of the supply will affect a total of 34 municipalities, including the capital.

As on previous occasions, this announcement was carried out through the official webrole page, where the municipalities indicate, the duration of the works, the exact addresses or the time to which the light will be cut.

Municipalities affected by the Iberdrola light cut

The cuts are not limited only to the capital, but cover more than 30 Madrid municipalities. These include: Madrid, Alcalá de Henares, Alcorcón, Arroyomolinos, Boadilla del Monte, Buitrago del Lozoya, Ciudalcampo-San Sebastián de los Reyes, Collado Villalba, Colmenar Viejo, Fuenlabrad Majadahonda, Móstoles, Navalcarnero, Paracuellos de Jarama, Pelayos de la Dam, Pinto, Robledo de Chavela, San Martín de Valdeiglesias, San Sebastián de los Reyes, Santa María de la Alameda, Torrejón de Ardoz, Torrelodones, Valdemorillo and Villaviciosa de Odón.

In the capital, cuts have been scheduled at different points:

  • Street Languages ​​(October 7): From 00:05 to 04:00 hours.
  • Fernán González and O’Donnell Street (October 7): from 08:30 to 09:15 hours.
  • Doctor Esquerdo, Mateo López, Vaquerías and Vicente Caballero (October 7): from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
  • Prince Street (October 8 and 10): From 07:15 to 09:15 hours.

  • Alcalá de Henares: October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 on the Alcalá-Daganzo road (M-100, Km 15).
  • Alcorcón: October 9 on Río Tajo Street (Numbers 12, 14 and 16) at different times of tomorrow and noon.
  • Arroyomolinos: October 10, from 08:30 to 10:30 in Miguel de Cervantes and Rosalía de Castro.
