The average price of light for this Monday, August 25, 2025 will be 92.30 euros/MWh (euros per megavatio hour) in the wholesale market as collected by the data published by the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE). This is a strong rise of 32.54% with respect to price of light that has been recorded this Sunday which has been 62.28 euros/MWh.
If compared to the previous year, the light is 66.19 % more expensive since on August 25, 2024, the average cost was 31.20 euros/MWh.
