The average price of light in Spain for this Friday, August 15, 2025, will be 69.27 euros per megavatio hour (€/MWh) in the wholesale market, according to data published by the Iberian energy market operator (OMIE). This is a decrease of 28.67% compared to Thursday price, which has been 96.70 euros.
If compared to the data a year ago, the cost of electricity has been more increased by 56.4%, since the holiday of 1August 5, 2024 was paid on average to 44.29 euros.
