The average price of electricity for households that have a regulated or indexed tariff in the free market stands at 150.87 euros per megawatt hour (euros/MWh) this Wednesday, November 19, 2025, according to data published by Red Eléctrica. This price represents a drop of 9.53% if the data recorded this year is taken into account. Tuesday when the price of electricity was 165.25 euros/MWh which means paying 14.38 euros less.
It is important to keep in mind that this figure corresponds to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), which is different from the one marked by the OMIE (Operator of the Iberian Energy Market) since this corresponds to the wholesale market and leaves at midday.
