The highest price of the day will be reached between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., when the electricity will rise to 134.42 euros/MWh. It will be followed by the sections from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (€134.38/MWh) and from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (€133.05/MWh), which will also register very high amounts. During those peak hours, it is advisable to avoid the use of large appliances to reduce the cost on the bill.

Evolution of the price of electricity
Electricity remains cheaper than in November last year. So far this month, the average wholesale market price is 51.76 euros per megawatt hour, well below the 104.00 euros that were registered in the same period of 2024.
Although the year-on-year decline continues, it does so with somewhat less intensity than in previous days. On November 18, 2024, the average price was 136.37 euros per MWh, that is, 57.29 euros more than this year’s reference.
