The average price of electricity for this Friday, November 7, 2025 drops to 141.92 euros/MWh (euros per megawatt hour) as an average for consumers who have a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, according to the data published by Red Eléctrica. When compared to the price of electricity that was recorded this Thursday, November 6there is a decrease of 24.22 euros, that is, 17.07%.
This cost is known as the Voluntary Price for the Small Consumer (PVPC) so it changes with respect to the price published at midday by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE), which is the electricity price in the wholesale market. This is usually lower since taxes or tolls are not included, which are included in the PVPC.

When is electricity cheaper this Friday?
Electricity is cheaper this Friday in the period from 4 to 5 in the morning when it will be paid at 81.83 euros/MWh. There are other periods of the day in which the appliances can be started, during daylight hours, to save on the bill, which are those from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (114.82 euros) and from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (127.59 euros/MWh).
When is electricity most expensive?
The highest peak of electricity arrives in the section that goes from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. when the price of electricity rises to 252.37 euros/MWh. There are other times of the day when it is better not to use electricity, which are from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. when it will cost 251.24 euros/MWh and from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. when it will cost 247.18 euros/MWh.
