The average price of electricity for this Monday, November 17, 2025, shoots up to 79.21 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) in the wholesale market, according to information published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE). This represents an increase of 132.02% compared to Sunday’s price, which stands at 34.14 euros.

It should be noted that although this data will affect consumers with a regulated or indexed rate in the free market, it will not affect the final price they will pay. To know this we will have to wait to know the PVPC, which includes taxes and tolls and will be published around 8:30 p.m.
