The average price of electricity for households with a regulated or indexed tariff in the free market drops and stands this Friday, November 21, 2025 at 147.16 euros/MWh (euros per megawatt hour), according to data published by Red Eléctrica.

This price shows a drop of 8.44% with respect to the data recorded this Thursday when the price of electricity in its PVPC was 160.73 euros/MWhwhich means paying 13.57 euros more to your pocket.

It must be remembered that this figure corresponds to the Voluntary Price for Small Consumers (PVPC), which is different from the one set by the Operator of the Iberian Energy Market (OMIE) since this corresponds to the wholesale market and is known at noon.

The PVPC includes other concepts other than the wholesale market, such as access tolls or system charges and electrical adjustment costs, applying to those who have a regulated or indexed rate.

The cheapest hour will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a price of 68.12 euros/MWh. There are other time slots to save on the bill, such as the one from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (80.78 euros) and from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. (98.85 euros).
