The average price of electricity for this Friday, November 14, 2025, is 29.39 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) in the wholesale market. Electricity drops again by 7.87%, if we compare it with the price recorded this Thursday, set at 31.90 euros, according to data published by the Iberian Energy Market Operator (OMIE).
This reduction benefits consumers who have a regulated rate (PVPC) or indexed rate within the free market, but taking into account that this price does not include tolls or other derived taxes. To find out, Red Eléctrica gives it at the end of the day around 8:30 p.m.

When is electricity cheaper this Friday, November 14?
The most economical part of the day will be between 04:00 and 05:00, when the price of electricity will fall to 6.49 euros per MWh. Early morning will once again concentrate the lowest values, especially between 02:00 and 06:00, with prices clearly below 20 euros per MWh.
When is electricity most expensive?
The highest price of the day will be reached between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., when the electricity will rise to 77.75 euros per MWh. Next, two other peak sections stand out: between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. (€75.13/MWh) and between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (€73.25/MWh).

For this Friday’s day we must take into account that the cheapest hours will be cheaper compared to this Thursday, but the most expensive will be more expensive. Also, the cheapest ones will be at dawn, so you have to take advantage of the periods between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. and, on the other hand, avoid putting the appliances with the highest consumption between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Evolution of the price of electricity
Electricity continues to be below the levels recorded in November of last year. So far this month, the average wholesale market price is around 49.30 euros per megawatt hour, well below the 98.93 euros per MWh that were reached in the same period of 2024.
The year-on-year drop continues, although with less intensity than in previous days. On November 14, 2024, the average price stood at 118.22 euros per MWh, which implies a difference of 89.83 euros compared to this year’s reference.
