Polish companies do not use artificial intelligence

Only a few percent of Polish enterprises declare that they use artificial intelligence tools or work automation.

As many as 96 percent of Polish companies do not use artificial intelligence, according to a study published by the Office of Electronic Communications. What is worse, these companies have no ambition to change this state of affairs.

If Polish companies use artificial intelligence, they are most often using knowledge management tools and graphic generators. Almost 90% of Polish companies have no plans to implement artificial intelligence tools in the next two years.

The situation is not much better when it comes to work automation, as only 6% of companies in our country use it, and as many as 87% of companies without automation do not intend to implement it.

Polish companies do not use large data sets on a daily basis, although more and more of them see the opportunities and benefits in this area. Only 20% of respondents have encountered the concept of “big data” from a corporate perspective, and only 11% of companies have processed such sets. The situation is similar with cloud data processing – 83% of companies do not use such tools

Although Polish companies generally do not use automation and artificial intelligence, it can be said that digital solutions are not foreign to them. As many as 97% of companies use mobile telephony, and 93% use the Internet. Polish companies use the network mainly to obtain information necessary for conducting business (84%) and to communicate with customers (71%), as well as to acquire new customers, as indicated by more than half of the respondents.

URE emphasized that Polish entrepreneurs have grown interested in e-administration services, which are used by 47 percent of companies. The most frequently visited platforms are ZUS (pue.zus.pl – 81 percent of the group of users), epuap.gov.pl (44 percent), finanse.mf.gov.pl (27 percent) and ceidg.gov.pl (22 percent).
