Oscar, a Portuguese Super-APP of services, raised six million euros in a new investment round to accelerate international expansion and strengthen leadership in Portugal and Spain.
With over 300,000 customers and annual revenues of over seven million euros, the company is preparing to grow in these markets and enter new European cities. Founded in 2019 by João Marques, Oscar allows to schedule more than 150 household cleaning services to small repairs, laundry or beauty, in less than 30 minutes, always with a fixed price and certified professionals
The investment, co-linid by Lince Capital and Indico Capital Partners, will be applied to reinforce leadership and technology teams, consolidation of operations in Portugal and Spain and expansion to other European countries. In Portugal, Oscar will extend coverage to cities such as Braga, Leiria and Aveiro. In Spain, the bet is to reach more locations besides Madrid, where growth has been especially fast.
According to João Marques, the goal is to make Oscar at the number one home service app until 2026. In recent months, the company has tripled the turnover, reflecting the strong increase in demand for digital solutions in the home service sector.
Oscar currently has a network of more than 12,000 qualified technicians and continues to grow to respond to demand in Portugal and abroad
