Jorge and César Cadaval (65 and 60 years old) have been making thousands of people laugh for years thanks to their performances as the well-known comedy duo Los Morancos. That is their best-known face but what many do not know is that in 2023 they founded a law firm specialized in the Second Chance Law, which helps those who meet certain requirements to ‘get rid’ of their debts.
Hence the name of this firm, ‘Debt Free’about which they spoke clearly and putting figures during their intervention on the Antena 3 program ‘El Hormiguero’. Leaving aside their artistic side (they are premiering a new play at the Capitol theater called ‘Bota Antonia’) they have focused on explaining their role as entrepreneurs and their family relationships. “In all families there is everything, well in ours the same,” Jorge told the presenter of the space, Pablo Motos.

They have been working side by side for more than 40 years and since they were little they have grown up listening to their father’s advice. One of them, precisely, is the one who gave them the idea. “He said a very nice thing: whoever needs it most must be covered. Because there are many NGOs but the first of all is your family. It is essential to cover what you have there, we must take away from the family, we must subtract from it.”
Money as an element that destroys families
The importance of keeping the family together has made the comedy couple grow professionally in another field. The one on the right. And, within this, in that of debts. “Money leaves many families… you have to have things very clear and give importance to what really matters,” said Jorge Cadaval. “When we started the Debt Free company, which is going great for us, we have exonerated 22 million euros and more people call us every day.”
In 2023 was the moment when they decided to start this law firm, where jurists specialized in the Second Chance Law work. The company helps its clients by looking for methods to deal with debts that sometimes amount to thousands of euros.
“There are people who are having a very bad time”
Their father’s teachings are the driving force behind Los Morancos going to work every day. “One dedicates oneself to doing things that give satisfaction, the truth is that there are people who are having a very bad time, the nice thing is to draw on the part of affection, of helping.”
For this reason, he asks for more awareness and that we all “learn to respect each other, regardless of our ideology.”
