The average price of electricity for this Tuesday, August 12, 2025, goes up to 157.66 euros/MWh on average for consumers with regulated or indexed rate in the free market according to data published by Red Electric. The light is paid 4.18% more expensive than Monday, August 11 when the price was 151.90 euros/MWh.
These amounts correspond to the voluntary price for the small consumer (PVPC) that is different from the one published by the Iberian energy market (OMIE) in which the Price in the wholesale market and that is usually lower because they do not include concepts such as taxes and tolls.

When is electricity more expensive on Monday?
